Welcome to Paris Soccer Club's new website - launched in January 2025

Police Check – Vulnerable Sector Police Check

All volunteers, 18 years of age or older, who are volunteering directly with the youth players must provide our club with an up to date Vulnerable Sector Police Check, which is valid for 2 years.  Lesser screening police checks will not be accepted.

The Paris Soccer Club will accept a recent completed Vulnerable Sector Police Check, as long as it has been processed within three months.

A letter from the club will be offered to all volunteers to present to your hometown’s police services so that they can complete for the purposes of a volunteer role.

Residents of Paris and Brant County need to report to the OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) to request a Vulnerable Sector Police Check while residents of Brantford need to report to the Brantford Police station for a Vulnerable Sector Police check.

Reimbursement – the Paris Soccer Club will reimburse any volunteers who had to make a payment to request a Vulnerable Sector Police Check, including for any fingerprinting fees to confirm your identity.  Our club will require the receipt and completed Vulnerable Sector Police Check and the volunteer needs to complete their season volunteer obligations before they are reimbursed for their fees.

Online application – Most police stations have the application online so you don’t have to go in person to fill out a Vulnerable Sector Police Check application form.

Criminal offenses – volunteers can be rejected from a volunteer position if they have criminal offences or charges pending for the safety of our vulnerable players and for the security of our club.
